Eudaimonia Solutions is very excited to be one of the official partners and supporters of the first truly international World Values Day to be celebrated around the world on 20th October, 2016. World Values Day is being held in association with two other ground-breaking values initiatives: the Swedish-based World Values Day which has been held at around this time of year since 2012, and the third annual Banking on Values Day, organized by the Global Banking on Values Alliance, which will be held concurrently with WVD on 20 October 2016.
The purpose of WVD will be to raise and deepen awareness and practice of values all around the world – highlighting the crucial role of values in the well-being of individuals, families, schools, organizations and society as a whole.
For us at Eudaimonia Solutions, values are at the core of all work we do as a Certified Consultant with the Barrett Values Centre. They are at the core of achieving personal mastery; they can tell us how far we are on the journey of becoming a great leader, building a truly great organization or improving life in society.
We will be informing you soon of the events and activities we will be doing this year. If you want to get involved with us in Belgrade, Sofia or Zurich, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, read the articles in our blog tagged with values: http://eudaimonia.solutions/category/values.
And remember, we can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. Same is even more true about values. We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of values we used when we created them.
According to the World Values Organization: “Values are the things that are important to us, the foundation of our lives. They are deeply held principles that guide our choices and behaviours and influence our emotions. Values are the core of who we are. They are our motivators, our drivers, the passion in our hearts and the reason why we do the things we do. World Values Day will call us to think about our most deeply held values and to act on them. If we are aware of our values and put them into action each and every day, we can change our lives and change the world we live in.”
